Such a great story... gave me warm fuzzies... I beloved information technology when that happens... :)
This book actually took me by surprise considering I wasn't expecting information technology to stir up my emotions as much every bit it did. The story revolves mostly around Selena and Oliver crossing paths again later years of hiding abroad from the mistakes of their youth. But information technology also revolves around Joe and Marsha Dixon, the foster parents of Oliver, and information technology was his parents that had me hooked generally into the story. I loved their matrimony and how they devoted their entire lives to helping children in need. They couldn't take children themselves, only they turned it into something wonderful instead of letting information technology bring them downwards. Very inspirational characters that I grew to love.
Selena and Oliver made huge mistakes in their teen years... it's a story nosotros've heard before right?? Their Wreck-less behaviors somewhen pulled these two autonomously even though they loved each other. Sometimes you lot hurt someone so much they accept no choice simply to run abroad. And, that's what both of them did.
Tragedy strikes the Dixon family unit however, and Oliver found himself back in this modest town facing the woman he loved in his youth with a new prepare of eyes. It'due south funny how time and a few years to grow can help heal the hurts of the past and notice a style to give someone a 2nd chance. Information technology also doesn't hurt to have a huge family of foster brothers and sisters to set you directly!
The other matter that I LOVED nigh this book is the way the writer included the occasional POV of Selena'due south little girl... I thought this was really powerful. Looking at a situation from the eyes of children is always a rude awakening. They see things simply and even though you try to hide the truth they can also be very, very perceptive! I fell in love with little Camille.
Joe and Marsha Dixon perfected what information technology means to be a existent family unit. Sometimes a trivial love and patience is all the medicine we demand to behave on. I loved the way they loved all of these children and gave them a sense of belonging and home.
I hope at that place are more than installments to this series. I would love to get to know some of the other characters a piffling better!
A wonderful story that I would highly recommend to modest boondocks romance fans and those who just honey a story that leaves you feeling adept at the end.

Anna DeStefano is a very talented author who creates a world of characters that are incredibly real and still can be so very different from each other, much like the people you know in real life. She takes the time to weave an intricate and compelling story, assuasive it to develop naturally without rushing it to a hurried conclusion.
This romantic and compelling tale unfolds with the hero Oliver returning abode, one time a foster kid with the Dixon family, he's now an incredibly in demand computer security specialist. Unfortunately, he hasn't been domicile since he left 7 years earlier. He sends lots of money to help his foster parents enhance more children in their loving home. He finds the dearest of his life Selena, back at her home side by side door with a daughter.
That's all the setup and spoilers I'm going to exercise! Except to let you know that the author spins a realistic and exciting tale of minor town life. She'southward given a wonderful picture of foster parents dedicated to helping kids have the family unit they then desperately need. Fifty-fifty if things don't always go well. Sometimes kids get into self-subversive things, fifty-fifty with the best parents.
Oliver and Selena (whose father abandoned her and her mother when she was a child) savage in love, only life got in the way. They both became teenage alcoholics and the consequences were devastating for a adept part of both of their lives.
The story centers on their old relationship, the lives they have now and Selena'southward daughter. Can they go friends or lovers again? Can they get through all the luggage and hurt? Whose daughter is Selena? At that place is so much corking drama and fantastic self-discovery in this heartfelt story, information technology'due south incredibly hard to put downward. Information technology entwines the lives of the many children the Dixons have raised, as well equally wellness bug of the father that bring the family unit dorsum to help.
It's very talentedly written and conceivable, a completely captivating read that will alternately warm, break, and then rebuild your heart. Grab lots of tissues, your favorite potable and settle in for a wonderful ride that volition play your heartstrings similar a violin.

What really drew me to this volume was the fact that Oliver and Selena are far from perfect. Both are recovering addicts, just they have pulled their lives together. Oliver is doing is all-time to take care of the foster parents who made him who he is and Selena is doing her best to exist a adept mother to Camille.

These two were an item, only their teenage bug pulled them autonomously.

The struggles that these 2 have are very existent. I have to acknowledge to loving that Oliver actually wants to be part of Selena'due south life, probably more than than Selena is set to take him in hers.

There'due south more to this story than just the rekindling of a romance. The large film really focuses on the importance of family. Selena is coming to accept her mother, who she had a strained relationship with, also as Oliver's family, The Dixons.

If you don't beloved the practiced hearted foster mom and dad, Marsha and Joe, in that location is something wrong with your heart. There is one scene with Marsha and Belinda (Selena's mom) that will tug and your heartstrings.

It was actually wonderful to run across the 2 families come together.

If you are a fan of family romance, this is definitely the book or series for yous. I can't wait to see whose story is adjacent.

Serena is home considering she is trying to get her life back together after filing for a divorce from her cheating husband, who actually did not intendance for Selena or her immature daughter Camille, and who will do anything to become them back to maintain appearances of having a loving, stable marriage and family.

The only trouble I had with this book was the manner the writer made everything a big drama, and then much and so that information technology well-nigh detracted from the story line and current happening. For example, the author dragged out the initial encounter between Oliver and Selena, the confrontation betwixt the two while the Child Protective Services was doing and impromptu inspection of Oliver'due south parents' home surroundings and never did mention the inspection afterwards (why insert this anyhow if y'all are not going to even mention it and possible impacts/repercussions after the fact, since it added naught?), and the initial meeting among Oliver, Selena and Brad in the hospital while all were visiting Oliver's father. I could proceed, just I won't. I just cannot empathise why everything, regardless of importance or complication, became so very of import and usurped the story line so much then that, as I said, I sometimes had difficulty remembering/realizing what exactly was going on. I realize the author wanted to bring out all the by events that led to what was occurring and to bring out their importance simply there are other ways, oftentimes employed by other authors.

Otherwise the story is a well done, sugariness romance. I enjoyed reading about the town and the families and watching the interactions between the characters, though there was goose egg all that unlike from other books in this same genre. I have non read anything else by this writer,
but she seems to be quite good, and I will now wait for other works past her. The story is a skilful romance and will appeal to readers who are looking for and savor them. I received this from NetGalley to read and review.

2nd hazard romances have a special place in my centre. As a event, I institute Let Me Beloved You Again past Anna Destefano to exist filled with all the ingredients for a great story.

Oliver and Selena missed out on a happily-ever-later on as teenagers. Now, every bit Oliver returns to their hometown to help out his family unit, the sparks betwixt them are still evident.

Old hurts tend to die slowly, and the author did a phenomenal task providing plenty of a dorsum story for the reader to understand what had happened in the past. The Dixon family, complete with numerous foster children, offers a wide variety of possibilities for future books. With Joe Dixon's wellness on the line, Oliver and Selena have to decide whether to mend the rift or say adieu forever.

While more sweet than spicy, the focus is on resolving past hurts. With that procedure comes the revelation of old secrets that could destroy whatever risk Oliver and Selena accept for a hereafter. I plant the novel to exist well written with highly-seasoned characters living in a mannerly community. When the last page was read, I felt a sense of contentment at how well the author wrapped up the story.

I really enjoyed the storyline and where it was headed. The characters were great how they worked together to be a family unit. The just issue was it came to a indicate where it got repetitive with everyone discussing or explaining to themselves or others the same things over and over and over once more. I do wish at that place was a little more of a back story, though that would have but made it longer.

We given multiple POVs, Selena, Oliver, and my favorite, Camille.

It started out practiced and held my interest until around the 75% point. It was still interesting and I still wanted to know what happened but it had gotten deadening so I perused much of the residue.

Engaging

Another nice romance elevated by threads of foster care, substance abuse and recovery, etc. Those threads gives the story more realism and make the characters more than engaging.
